I was bored! REALLY Bored. It was between the end of my final exams and the first day of my new job at the hospital. The gap was two months long, and I had no intention of sitting idle. During that period, I decided to use my free time and channel my boredom into something productive.
In the midst of boredom and restlessness, I stumbled upon a life-changing idea that would reshape my future – starting my own apparel and accessories small business. I wanted to create something people could relate to - specifically in the nursing niche. As soon as I was firm with the idea of starting my own business, it was time to figure out what I wanted to sell and all the supplies I'd need. I come from a family of businessmen, and you'd think planning, marketing and strategy would come easy; however, I was very wrong! I started from square one and taught myself the basics of business. I guess my interest in design and art kind of came in handy. I ordered my supplies, started designing, and it slowly started coming to me.
So far, the journey to create my first collection and finally release it has been nothing short of a whirlwind of emotions. I don't know how this will turn out, but I do know that this is something that I have put a lot of effort and love into, and hopefully, it will reflect in the products.
